Part of Ivanhoe community for four decades.
The owners and developers of Airlie Ivanhoe, the Weisz family, have owned the site on which Airlie Ivanhoe sits since the early 1980s and three generations of the Weisz family have lived in and around Ivanhoe for over 40 years.
With extensive experience in both managing and building accommodation for senior members of the community, the Weisz family is excited to have added significantly to the Ivanhoe landscape with the launch of Airlie Ivanhoe in August 2021. The family is proud to continue their long
history of care and quality development within this unique neighbourhood.

Communal Living
The centrepiece of communal living at Airlie Ivanhoe will be the magnificent lounge with an imposing double-sided fireplace opening out onto a large central courtyard. Complementing this area are the bar and kitchen, private dining room and billiards table where you’ll love to spend time with other residents and your guests.
Private cinema & library
The private cinema is sure to be a hit with residents for regular movie nights with its huge screen and purpose-built cinema seating. For those that want to relax with a book or a leisurely game of chess, the library is the perfect place for when you want some peace and quiet.
Exclusive gymnasium
In addition to the numerous sporting facilities nearby, Airlie Ivanhoe will also have its own exclusive residents only gymnasium to help you maintain your health, fitness and wellbeing. Other resident-only areas include a sizeable workshop where you can undertake projects, a locked bicycle storage area and laundry room with drying facilities.

We’ve made stunning landscaping a feature throughout the community to reflect the beautiful garden environment in which Airlie Ivanhoe stands. Two dramatic palms mark the entrance to Airlie Ivanhoe and carefully considered plantings provide shade, privacy and an ever-changing outlook all year round.
Come together
The interior courtyard allows for quiet reflection as well as a variety of settings for people to come together. An outdoor BBQ area offers residents the flexibility of extra space if larger gatherings are planned. This area will also be used for resident events such as Grand Final day or Christmas lunches (in both December and July for a mid-winter celebration).

Airlie Ivanhoe stands on the site of the historic Airlie Maternity Hospital. Founded in 1924, the Airlie Maternity Hospital developed an impressive midwifery reputation, drawing people from all corners of Melbourne and even interstate with 20,000 births over its almost 60-year history. Airlie Ivanhoe has been named after the hospital and is proudly writing a new chapter for this renowned part of Melbourne history.
